Je ziet ze voornamelijk tegen gevels, als bodembedekker of als tuinafscheiding tegen een gaasrek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Hedera\u2019s behoren tot de Araliaceae familie. Hedera Woerner heeft een donkergroen blad met lichte nerven en is een soort dat de hele winter zijn blad behoudt. Deze struikklimop is winterhard, dat wil zeggen dat deze tot \u2013 25 \u2070C vorst goed bestand is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Hedera helix \u2018Woerner\u2019 is \u00e9\u00e9n van de weinige klimplanten of bodembedekkers die zware schaduw kan verdragen. Als de haag hier aan bevestigd kan worden is het niet nodig om palen te plaatsen. Komt de haag los te staan, dan is het noodzakelijk om aan beide zijde een paal te plaatsen. Doe dit eerst voordat u het gat voor de haag graaft, dan staan de palen het stevigst in de grond. De hagen zijn standaard 1,20 meter breed. Indien dit niet past, is het goed mogelijk om de haag te versmallen. Met bijvoorbeeld een slijptol snijdt u het stalen frame vrij eenvoudig door. Zodra de palen staan, graaft u het gat waar de haag inkomt. De kluit van de hedera is 20cm breed en 20cm hoog. Graaf het gat iets ruimer, maar 25cm diep is ruim voldoende. Voor een goede ontwikkeling is het prettig als de grond niet te vast is, zodat de wortels de ruimte hebben om in de grond hun weg te vinden<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vervolgens haalt u de kunststof inlegvellen uit de rekken. Het kan zijn dat deze enigszins vastgegroeid zitten door de wortels. Deze kunt u los snijden, daar loopt de Hedera geen schade van op. Dan is de haag klaar om het gat in te gaan. Zet ze vast met klemmetjes aan de paal. Deze zijn bijvoorbeeld te koop in de webshop van <a href=\"https:\/\/gadero.nl\/draadzadel-bevestiging-trellis-in-3-maten\/?epik=dj0yJnU9cDAxbEVLT25QZFpFNUpxUVVMYi1PT3U5OE91TWxnLVgmcD0wJm49Z0Rpd2FEMHhNZUhFT3Axc1Z5UThtQSZ0PUFBQUFBR0tIWGg0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gardero<\/a>. Maar eventueel kan het ook prima met krammetjes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tot slot vul je de nog open kieren op met grond. Je kunt hem verwennen met verse grond, maar dat is geen must. En voil\u00e0, uw haag is klaar om van te gaan genieten!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hedera snoeien en verzorgen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Om de Hedera haag in het begin goed op gang te helpen om vast te groeien is water geven heel belangrijk. Liefst de eerste zes weken dagelijks een flinke hoeveelheid. Om de Hedera een boost te geven raden wij aan om wat koeienmestkorrels erbij te strooien. Als er hier en daar nog wat plekjes zijn die niet helemaal dicht gegroeid zijn, kunt u de ranken in de gaten duwen of om het rek heen vlechten. Binnen no-time zijn dan ook de laatste gaatjes gevuld. Doe dit wel voorzichtig, want als ze breken, sterven die takjes af.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In principe kunt u gedurende het hele jaar de klimop snoeien. Wij raden u wel af om gedurende vorstperiodes in de winter te snoeien. De beste tijdstippen van snoei zijn in het voorjaar, in april en mei na de eerste groei.
